Yes, it is the repro.
They did a pretty fine job on it. And not that many copies were made as well.

Well, I just was lucky.John was over at a mutual friends house and my friend showed John my site which he digged and then decided to sign a Doors Cd for me.

Right, m. Vinyl, first pressings rule!
Most of my vinyl is FIRST presses....at least my favorite 400+ LPs are....nothing lost thru generations of reissues.

Not related to this Doors post...but I also love white label promos, like Dan's up there. Sweet. Many times even better sound as they will press promos at small plants with extra care, often in advance of the regular vinyl runs.

I just picked up a white label promo of Gilded Palace Of Sin by the Flying Burrito Bros for $31....getting really rare in any form of vinyl!!

What's your sweetest white label promo, Dan or anyone? I also have a Canadian promo of "Da Capo"..that's my fave!!

I think all you guys vinyl collections would get my tong at my toes.
So awesome. One day I am really gonna invest in them.
Cause I'll take vinyl over cd any day. Not that I hate CD's. Not at all. But vinyl has a magic. Even the cracks on it are a turn on.

A little of topic well maybe a lot. James? Captain Kirk?

Ya! Aye, Cap'n. William Shatner turned 78 this month. You wouldn't know it....he's a pretty youthful 70+ on Boston Legal!! Don't get me started on the network cancelation of that gem.
A perennially popular show that did not fit the 18-25 target audience that the networks are obsessed with....hell, who has the money?!!....NOT the 18-25 crowd!! Idiots! On the last few shows they did a story line about suing the networks for discriminating against the "elderly" (something along that line)...you know, folks like me over 50
So anyway, ya, I love Shatner...the humor he infuses into his roles all the way back to Star Trek is priceless!!

But, ya, CDs are nice....for the car and convenience, but i have only 20 or so for the car and I rip them if I want something.....
Vinyl does have a magic, I record them to cassette for my MR2 car player and I keep the sound of the needle hitting the vinyl at the start of the record....a thrill every time...kind of a sweet intro to what is coming!

Boston Legal? I don't know that show. I don't think it is aired here in Holland.
The last time I have seen him in action was I think when he was doing Rescue 911. Wich was a long time ago. Used to watch that.

Love the sound of the needle hitting the vinyl too, always did

Yep, and you guys seen it. Must be so beautiful. Especially the posters framed. And the vinyl. I think even the surviving Doors members would drool over seeing stuff like that.
Awesome.
