The "Lords" folder and AAP look odd. Are they repros? They don't appear to be originals. TNC looks unusual as well and also appears to possibly be a repro.

Youre actually right , hadnt taken a closer look at the lords font .

If AAP cover is glossy then its fake , I used to have one when I started collecting.

Didnt know they issued a fake tnc book too, only knew about the other two.

The lords book is 100% fake , used to have one too and sold it for 450$ a couple of years ago.

Hope you didnt pay much for the lot and you are aware that at least one of them is not original

I'm nots sure if repros or original that's why said stay tubes because waiting for them in mail sorry and I've never known a replica of LORDS or NEW CREATURES only the one when they joined together in 1970 (the purple cover book)!

So youre not sure if they are fake or original, seriously? How much did you pay for them ? If you paid below 1000 $ then they sure are all fake , if you paid above 10.000 you got seriously screwed over as the lords and possibly aap (cant tell from the pic but if the cover is glossy its fake) are 100% fake

I wouldn't spend more than 100€ for three reproductions. It would be nice to have them (if they're accurately made, with the correct kind of printing and paper) because the originals are largely out of my reach.

Well, if I had 400$ I would buy a first edition of The Lords and the New Creatures. 400$ for a reproduction is way overpriced (if you sold at that price, good for you!)

I have a different opinion. I try not to encourage sellers who overprice their items beyond reasonable limits. Original pieces don't have a fixed value, they're worth as much as one is willing to pay. On the other hand, a reproduction is not worth much more than its production cost. When someone pays an unreasonable price for an assembly line product, he damages the whole community because he entitles other sellers to inflate the price of anything that's remotely connected to that.

In case of highly sought after items, I have never seen any kind of repros of anything going for only the production costs. That's gotta be a quite naive thing to expect.

I just wanted to point out that it makes no sense to me to pay hundreds of dollars for a reproduction that has no historical or physical connection to The Doors. Just like you wouldn't pay thousands of dollars for a print of a Picasso painting. My two cents!
