I am really in need of help please, this can either push me away or little closer who knows, so I have purchased another Replica Set of Jim Morrison's Poetry books like the ones I proclaimed were originals but they are not and with having another set, I honestly don't know what I am going to do with them- do I resell them? do I keep them? I don't honestly know, because they were only made to very limited number, and if I ever do sell them- who do I talk to? who might be interested? I paid $750 plus delivery so virtually $800 for the set and knowing I am not a social etiquette person it's hard for me to word things sorry and the person I buy them from has no more will not get anymore so I hope you all can please understand and thank you for allowing me to be apart of this forum, Kris Bowers from Australia

i got them because the shop was closing down and they retire and don't have anymore and won't get anymore and each set was made slightly different!

Ive been hoping for years that someone would make replicas of the books. Id buy them too but i wouldnt pay that sorry.
They look good but $800 £450 is way too much

I'm pretty sure Len said on his site ages ago, there were already a replica edition of Lords: Notes On Vision which came out! but I don't know whether it the same print or version I have, and virtually I could have maybe 2 different copies and whether I can not afford a original these are still nice to have I guess!

Len also emphasized the fact how inferior those replicas are compared to the originals (not even the fonts or the dimensions are in snych), especially considering their rip-off pricings.

actually these are made to correct size I measured them already, sorry and according to person I got them from, they said the shop only made 2 different copies, and only less than 10 were made of each book so I will have the 2 different versions they made so once I get them I will photograph them together with the previous ones I own

Finally they found out the correct size then. It was about time if they are selling this for around a thousand bucks.. But also don't forget you can never regain the enourmous loss you paid for these nonsense replicas. Sometimes I wonder where's your head at.

What do you do for a living kris

I once studied for 2 and half years in tourism/ hospitality/ management/ events, now I work 4 years at steak restaurant, doing desserts, meal prep, plating food, washing dishes! I'm also a poet, I keep to myself, I don't have friends, I have crazy The Doors ideas and I built a wall I can't break as I said I'm a loner and feel I might not be good enough but anyway sorry, I guess just telling how I feel!

You are good enough. There is nothing the matter with you. It's ok to be a loner, I'm a bit of a loner myself. Not all people are the same or want the same things. and thats good, people like us add variety to life. You are also a Doors fan, and we are all pretty exceptional people

Move to LA and open a Doors memorabilia museum!

I'd love to own my own restaurant music cafe and show some my collection, or maybe even start a Australian The Doors Fan Club
