We have your number

Post by five2one »

Life finds a way, 'love is stronger than death', i know though everything seems to say otherwise -- everything that says so is death, and love is stronger

We have been through this, again and again

We are the universe, we are the stars

We come from far, far away
And a long, long time ago

'Always w cards close to our chest'
'Something up our sleeves'
Handshakes please

Our hair of our eyebrows is fire
Our fire in our eyes is from our heart
Our invisible soul
We are
The royal we, the many we
The representative, the ambassador
The angel of old
From outer space and before
The beginning of this time

Six feet under, stone around our neck
At the bottom of the sea
Our enemies will be devastated
Like its' 70 AD

Fists clench
That ain't blood coursing through these veins
That's fire

'Don't call it a comeback, been here all along'

Nervous system electric
Sparks and fire and wind
I am spiritual, you can't kill me
Just come back
Again and again

The darkness knows
The Cosmos always has its' back
Life and stars
Mammals and fire and wind and ice
We stick together
Dark matter
Can kiss our ass

Tiny pool in the universe
You collection of fools
Radio message of super intelligent life
We don't die
We come again
Populating the planets
Our fists and rage
Of the stars
We are life
You better believe it

Coming at you as
The resurrection of the dead
Hell touches heaven, on earth
They are all called earth, sucker

This is what we have to say
You naybe thought i came alone
And died

But i just took a disguise
Went on the run
I am not some pussy
I am flesh and blood
I know how to run this
Soft, vulnerable

Never age, never die
So darkness has a problem
Darkness knows its' time is short

We spread like fungus
We don't need spores
Or ships
We are spiritual
And control reality w our minds
Bullets can't hurt a ghost

Makin all the world a movie
I am the star
The christ
The hero
Here is what we have to say
They follow me wherever u go

'Cause the boyz n tha hood are always hard
You come talkin' that trash we'll pull your card
Knowin' nothin' in life but to be legit
Don't quote me boy, 'cause I ain't said shit''

We have fire from the suns
Hiding behind our eyes
They say my name
Like they mean it

We are gonna bring this whole place down

I mean everything

The Universe us coming to town

I mean, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth

We are stranger than you see

A thousand years, we will torment the earth
Ruling like kings made of iron and fire
Resurrected, spiritual
Creation, the universe
Is alive
And smarter than you are

All the chips are down
The odds are stacked
Many times long
Write a book, make a library
Of impossible things
Of impossible number
We have you covered

We do it again

We have your number

Planets blow up
Solar systems destroyed
We have done all of this
Before and before

Nothing stops us
Life populates
Billion years
Of peace and immortality
We can solve all the problems

I come from the universe
With my friends
Call me
Son of the Universe
Son of God
Son of Man
With the clouds of heaven
In fictional media
We stretch the mind
With impossible wonders
The Universe is Us

Reality like a dream
We can manipulate w our mind

Make our children
Keep spawnin the planets by the stars

Five to one, baby
Rocket to the stars
Moon on her soft feet
12 colonies on her head

This is the man
Who set it all up
Never doubt there is
A plan
Hope and Faith and Love, hope and faith will be obsolete, but never love -- Me . Just kidding. Hope & Faith & Love. Forever. (I lied to Paul, or my Angel did... I forget... hehehe... I invented joking & poker. Just don't tell the girls...

Loved it. Thanks for this. Nice, original idea to play with the five to one theme and transpose it into a cosmic, universal digit (521) that holds a mystical significance. Great imagery that speaks of the eternal, the primal, the spiritual. Beautiful lyricism throughout; I especially liked the line "I know how to run this soft, vulnerable machine." Reminds me of some of Jim's best poetry, which I believe is the effect you intended here and have achieved with aplomb. You have a gift for poetry.
