Do you know which songs were written with the thought of Jim singing them and which not?

An interesting question. I think the answer to this question would relate to when Robbie wrote Light My Fire. Robby wrote light my fire yet, without rays organ introduction would it have been a hit? Would it have been a hit without the briallant arrangement of the song. When light my fire was first released it was to long for am radio stations to play so it was re-mastered to the lenght we hear today. But, back to your question: no I don't think any of the post morrison songs were written for Jim. If you should think of a certain example I would reply to it. Writers write songs. When I first started songwritting I was sometimes asked to write a song that was like something that was currently a hit. That was crap. A songwriter writes. Period. And I think that says it.
