Doors: Illustrated History

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

I was looked at my dog-eared copy of "the Doors: the Illustrated History" today and saw a rare LoVE reference in it. Not complimentary however. Page 182, Rob Houghton from Creem compared the Doors to LoVE and the Byrds in that a pall of smoke lingers over every group that started from LA. Funny how back then how people could take for granted three of the greatest bands ever.
