sooner or later end up these releases, and so you need to, make out, new video, maybe the live DVD, as:

- ISLE OF WIGHT 1970 DVD
- ROUNDHOUSE 1 AND 2 SHOW 1968 (COLOR) HOPE
- TORONTO ROCK REVIVAL FESTIVAL 1969 (MAYBEEEE)
- and wht not TAMPALPAIS OUTDOORS THEATER 1967

BOYS, ONE THING IS CERTAIN, SOONER OR LATER ONE OF THESE SHOWS WILL BE PUBLISHED THE FIRST WILL SURELY: ISLE OF WIGHT, THEN, I BELIEVE, we'll see ALSO the other, it concerns ARE INTENDED TO BE ISSUED

Personally, I'm glad we are still getting any archival releases and I'll be buying Vancouver.

However, I also understand your concern about 67 and 68 not being represented on BMA.

The fact they keep issuing 1970 stuff probably means they haven't yet acquired stuff like Stockholm 68.
I'm buying Vancouver too, but I buy every BMA release.

They probably wanted to put more distance between the two Matrix releases. Instead of looking like fools who could have released it properly the first time around, they can say that they were finally able to track down the owner of the original recordings, and after long and hard negotiations are thrilled to be able to release the recordings in their entirety from the zero generation masters.

Well, there is a little bit of a pro footage(one minute or so) with multiple angles. It is very well known among the collectors. It is from a German documentary.

DeepDiscount.com also has a pretty good deal. Only $11.97 with free shipping. Not sure if they'll ship as quickly as Amazon though.

It's a good deal...but you're right about the shipping concern: I ordered a similarly-priced, new-release item on DeepDiscount a few months ago, with the free shipping, and I got it about 3 weeks after the release date. Definitely the slow boat.

"Ass" by Badfinger is finally being released in the U.S. on CD. I ordered it along with the Vancouver CD, and used this website to find a 16 cent item to bring my order total above the $25 minimum for free shipping...

http://www.filleritem.com/

It's a great order if your also a Badfinger fan.

EDIT: Never mind. I just noticed that the "Ass" CD was raised from $12.99 to $13.99. Hopefully they'll lower it back down to $12.99.

The Amazon page was updated recently to include sound clips (no big deal as we've already had access through the BMA website) and track times. (I figured the latter might be of some interest.)

Cool. The Amazon samples are better quality than those on the BMA site. Interesting that the opening track is over 5 minutes long. And the last track has a pretty funny outro we've never heard before.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but The End also has a short cut in it, I think at 5:54 just before Ride The Snake comes in....? Maybe it's just my 'unauthorized' copy.... the organ definitely does some funny pitch bending, and it sounds like a tape being paused/unpaused during recording.

Also around the 2-3 min mark theres an obvious cut just before Jim comes in with Across The Sea. I've edited this post three times now!

So anyway The End will be complete. I might break out the aud tape this week and give that a whirl before the remaster arrives... and maybe I won't be SO harsh on Bruce's digital verb :)

€ 19,99

I couldn't find Vancouver listed as pre-order on Bol where I normally buy it. Still can't find it there, wich is odd. They always have the pre-orders up quick.

Ed I hope you don't mind me asking. Where are you/or did you pre-order?
Cause you are also from Holland and I remember you had huge trouble with delivery with the Felt forum box set.
Monique, I've preordered this via Amazon for $11,88 and $6,48 shipping & handling costs. Totally costs are $18,36. Converted to Euro's it's a total of € 13,64.

Out of curiosity I checked the German Amazon for the Vancouver release.
But they don't even have it. Not for pre-order and no date as to when it will arrive. Anything.

Derzeit nicht verfügbar.
Ob und wann dieser Artikel wieder vorrätig sein wird, ist unbekannt.

It's time Amazon opened in Holland too.
Thanks again btw. Gonna pre-order also at Amazon. :)

That's fine, but there's no reason to be rude to someone who's just sharing the latest price update. There are a lot of members here and I think the majority of them want to know when the price drops so they can get the best deal.

Thanks for the tip on the price drop! I just placed my pre-order on Amazon to capture the lower price.
