More Jerry Hahn Brotherhood....one of the top jazz guitarists around...even today. This track is from a pioneer LP of jazz/rock fusion....in the best sense of the genre.

Ed here's some nice Jazz licks and Jerry Hahn has a bunch on youtube, and current recordings too.

Fairport Convention (1968) This track is.....Tale In Hard Time....
"One of the lost treasures of folk rock!" In the tradition of The Band & Jefferson Airplane.

A great rocking hormony & a blistering lead guitar by Richard Thompson. Couldn't find a video, but here is a link to an MP3 from ironleg.wordpress.com.

http://ironleg.wordpress.com/2007/08/09 ... onvention/

whoops hold on......it's good now!

You're welcome. They charge your credit card at the time of the order. I doubt they'll sell all 4,000 copies by that time, but who knows.

Still such a beautiful heartfelt song.
Dinand wrote this for his wife. She died shortly after their marriage and giving birth to their first child.

That's really not a bad price, ed. I've seen a lot of 10 CD boxes go for $200+.

The New Tweedy Brothers....a 60's SF psych band whose original custom hand folded (by the band), tri-gatefold, foil finished, hexagon cover goes for $800 (dog-eared), to $4000 (SS). Reissues are out there on CD & vinyl.

Interesting folk/rock/jug band/psych with all manner of string instruments, jug, kazoo, washboard, autoharp, cans......it all works. They opened for Big Brother who were debuting a new singer called Janis, and others such as the Dead.

Here's a link to a review....
