00:00-00:06 - Asbury Park (probably)
The rest of what you asked are two or three concerts, probably including Bakersfield and maybe some from April or June.
Like I probably say too much, there's just not enough information to identify them because there really are no photos.

You've been to Africa? Wow. Africa is stunning. And to see tribes still living their own culture in their own beautiful land with so much love and pleasure is fantastic to see.
Hope you'll have a chance to see more of this beautiful continent. :D

I still love me some Prodigy. They really are something else aren't they?
I think they have a new album out. I didn't hear it yet. But I don't think it can ever be as good as the old stuff. That just kicked ass. Like Firestarter, breath, voodoopeople, etc.

I tried to watch the clip with my sleepy head. Kostis are you hinting on the what you're gonna fuckin do about it segment in the Firestarter performance?

The most popular VW commercial of all time.......Pink Moon/Cabrio

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lSKUL_n6c0

It took a TV commercial to finally make the youth of the world aware of Nick Drake.....bet you saw this without knowing who the artist was.

>Full 1.58 min album track....

recalls those sweet summer nights flying down the highway. Guess I need a Pink Moon, SF!!

Me too, dj.

I really know of no other artist whose guitar weaves such a solid musical core with the vocals flowing through and around...evoking beautiful melody & melancholy moods.....deep and dark....but soaring.

Forgive me, it's late.

A guitarist that stands beside Jimi Hendrix as one of the all-time greatest!

Wait a minute...he DID play along side Jimi when he was 16 (Jimi nick-named him "California"), but he couldn't go on that first Hebdrix/British tour because he was only 16...parents rights and all......
Randy California........who learned guitar from whom...I'm guessing it was a mutually giving process!

GROOVE THING...love how he just taps those frets in the intro...what a marvel.

I was able to sort a lot of things out once I nailed down the Santa Rosa venue and footage.
Some I might have mentioned before, but I'm quite confident about them now.
0:00-0:06 is definitely Asbury.

0:27-0:31, 0:33-0:36, 0:45-0:48, 2:05-2:12, 2:36-2:39 are all Bakersfield, as well as the shots where Ray has two red cups atop the Gibson.

1:35-1:40, 2:20-2:22 are almost certainly Fresno, as are the shots of John in the spotlight, wearing a pale blue shirt and a pendant around his neck.

The shots of Ray being grabbed by the girl are from Santa Barbara.
The shots of Robby wearing a green shirt and bandana are from San Diego.

From other vids, the mysterious dark footage of Jim with whoever that blues guy was is from Santa Rosa. There's an awful lot of footage from there on part of Live in Europe, with the band coming in to check out the empty venue and then footage from the show.
The card game in the hotel room is from Bakersfield (and you can see Harrison Ford again in the mirror).
Kinda disappointed now, dunno how much there is left to solve.
