Yay! And thanks to you and TheDoorsMusic.

I'm not playing them, since I dont have a player. They just serve the purpose as collectables for now. I'll get a player at some point, a USB one might be great since I could put them on my comp.

Nice. I found a gold label last year to go with my original red label. It went from gold to red so quickly, I don't think it even got to our little local record shop back in 68 (?) with a gold label.

Cheers, tomi. Love that track!! And the tilte track of course!

Time for a "stranger than fiction" story.

I recently gave my lady a rose bush for her birthday. It had pink roses. Our flower garden leaned toward reds and we wished the bush had been a red rose bush. There are no RED roses at all to cross pollinate. See my avatar for what appeared on the bush a few days later........

oooweeeeeoooooooo!

Pretty cool huh?!!

Some of you may not be old enough but, others of you might think this is kind of funny.

Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their hits with new lyrics to accommodate aging baby boomers.
They include:
Herman's Hermits --- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker .
Ringo Starr --- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends.
The Bee Gees --- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip.
Bobby Darin --- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash.
Roberta Flack--- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face.
Johnny Nash --- I Can't See Clearly Now.
Paul Simon--- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver.
The Commodores --- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom.
Marvin Gaye --- Heard It Through the Grape Nuts.
Procol Harem--- A Whiter Shade of Hair.
Leo Sayer --- Yo u Make Me Feel Like Napping.
The Temptations --- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone.
Abba--- Denture Queen.
Tony Orlando --- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall.
Helen Reddy --- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore.
Leslie Gore--- It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want To.
Willie Nelson --- On the Commode Again.

okay here is what I came up with
  • Break on through--You know the bladder destroys your night
The End-- This is really the end
Strange Days--Strange days have what? I forgot
When the musics over-- Let me know I can't hear
hello I love you-- Won't you tell Bengay
Roadhouse blues-- Keep your eyes on the road, mine aren't what they used to be
LA women-- I can't remember Mr. Mojo risin
Stoned Immaculate-- Out here we is stone deaf
We could be so good together-- If I could just get it up

Someone else can add

I think I destroyed my vacuum clean thing yesterday. It's a new one, just two or three months old. The other one went kaput too before that. I can't get along with technical stuff. :|

So glad I'm not alone at this Rae. Is it a bad thing when I say I am happy you have it too? We can exchange experiences. There are many to share.

Now I just have the problem.. how am I gonna go to my neighbour and ask her to borrow her vacuum clean thing yet again, till mine is fixed or I have a new one.
Think I'm driving her insane. :|

Lol Scott.

Yes as I have gone through life destroying many. I always empty out the things in the cleaner and handle that thing with love. But it doesn't help.
I don't understand it. I just put it on. And it made a sound and went dead. Nothing anymore.

The last one I had did that too. But that one had a burning smell after that. But this one did not.

I'm pretty handy but vacuums are out of my range of mechanical expertise. Good luck. Don't burn up your neighbor's...then she really WILL get pissed.

Thanks for the avatar compliments. Does Brad Pitt sometimes remind anyone else of James Dean?

And did anyone see the movie they made about him starring James Franco?

Cool! At least I'm not nuts, lol. I have a tendency to see similaries in some people that make me sound crazy, as no one else finds 'em.

Doesn't remind me of him but I can see some similarities. They are both good looking, but I prefer James I think

No, I haven't seen the movie. I've heard about it though. Is it any good? I'm starting to show interest in Dean. I've heard that James Franco might be playing Jeff Buckley in a movie too.
