yea I am.....I told you I am wearing them to Dans....
I'll get you a pair too.....
and yes Misty...Jim earrings. lol
the guys wear t-shirts..so I figure why not earrings???
I'll post a pic of them when I get home, I am sure you have seen them at one point.
this is just RIDICULOUS i wouldnt even look at em if i see those, where's the doors pride? there? no sir that is just wrong I bet million bucks that Ray was the one with the idea, i was disappointed for john going for this, i really couldnt believe it, it would also be interesting hearing him talking about this though.... i dont think ANY of the doors need this on merchandise cmon we all know royalties are Way high as new fans grow up so no need to converse, but what could you expect from those greedy ppl? as jim said "money beats soul everytime"...
I bought a pair of the colourful "Light My Fire" style last Fall but haven't worn them yet. They are sitting as expensive book ends on my shelf. Perhaps I'll take them for a walk soon
Thanks, Len. Many valid points. Even if I wouldn't wear a DOORS sneaker, I really have no problem with marketing DOORS'-wear to get new fans.
I'm cool with it. How many have a DOORS tee shirt and are fine with that?

My wife bought me pair of Doors Converse sneakars for my birthday. I must say that I love them. When I first heard about Doors sneakers I had same of feeling that most of you guys, that it is bad idea. I can't imagine wearing clothes/gadgets with Jim's face or logo. It was good when I was teenager.
But my sneakers are olive/green model. They are army style with fake zip and part of Unknown Soldier lyrics. On one is 'War is over" on the second is 'it's all over'. Doors logo is one the sole and tongue, not visible. Their design correspond with Unknown Soldier lyrics, not just face of Jim or Doors logo. Most of people looking at them don't know that they are Doors sneakers. I think that If these model would be without Doors label I also would like to wear them.
It was only one exception to the rule, because they are different from other Doors gadgets.

Visiting Freed's board and doing a board meeting at the same time!!!.....kind of ironic and COOL!! How do you explain it when you burst out laughing from an off color joke by a member HERE?!! Tell the joke maybe!!!
