Quite a beautiful acoustic version of one of my favorite songs and that is saying a lot for a guy who is mostly stuck in the 60's...musically speaking!

Scott
how dare you-- If we trust your taste lol
lyric that caught my attention "I hope the deaf can lead the blind"
so what is your favorite lyric in this song
Is that a mandoline I hear on this?
back in the day I would have had to have a toke with this one
Ah Bowie so young. And Bing Crosby there. I don't remember ever seeing/hearing this version of Little Drummer Boy.
It's beautiful. Thank you scott.
And it's true. Christmas is the time you miss your loved ones who do not have the luxery to be alive anymore the most.
But loving the ones in my life now and have a special place in my heart for the ones I have to miss. It's good moving on. Warm feelings indeed.
And a surprising christmas feeling.
What is the story Nicole? I don't think I heard it before, or I can't remember right now.
..." i had a dream that a mischievous seraph was standing behind a heavy velvet curtain, whispering, " you have to do Soul Kitchen"... i got up, dressed and steped out the door, when a big sanitation truck pulled up in front of me. the radio was blaring Soul Kitchen. i'm vaguely superstitious, i figured we better do it. while signing it, i had the weird sensation upon closing my eyes, that when i opened them, i would find myself in the soupy atmosphere of another existence. Soul Kitchen was like wander'n into a back room and jim morrison murmuring " pick a card". as i write this at five in the morning, i can hear the sanitation truck pulling up. still one place to go." patti smith / twelve
