Robert Rozelle has passed away

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

Robert Rozelle has passed away

Post by jamestkirk »

Robert was in a serious auto accident on Wednesday. Our thoughts are with him and his family.

No details as yet. The news was posted on Diane Lee's facebook page. Robert is a former member of LoVE and played with Arthur Lee and Love during their UK tour in 1974.
A great bass player, he also appeared on the soon to be legally released Love album, BLACK BEAUTY.

Please get well Robert. His kind words and insightful thoughts in the Love documentary, Love Story, always impressed me.

As a result of his injuries Robert has passed away. A fine man and musician...he will be missed.

Rest in peace, Robert.

Ohh, sorry to hear this. I'll pass the info on to my friend who is also a huge Love fan. :( RIP

like an actor all alone,
who never knew the story he was in,
who never knew the story ends.
Like the sky reflecting my heart,
all the colors become visible.
When the morning begins... I'll read the last line.
