Ray, Robby and John Post - Doors Items You Collect
I wasn't sure where to start this thread but I was curious if anyone here collects anything of Ray, Robby and John post - Doors. I just added 3 items to my collection. They're all 45's. One is a DJ Promo of Solar Boat from 1974. One is a DJ Promo of Downbound Train. Finally, I found a DJ Promo of a song by Nite City called Summer Eyes. The first two I had already heard obviously since I had the albums but the Nite City song I had never heard. It's pretty good. This DJ Promo of Summer Eyes has both the stereo and mono versions of the song.

I haven't got around to buying Butts Band and Krieger solo albums yet, although I def will. I have a few Ray albums and promo copies. I have been and still am more focused on Doors era stuff, but now and then when something pops up I grab it.
Starting pre production on a sketch show. More soon.

Probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway. Has anything live of the Butts Band ever surfaced, either audio or video?

I guess this fits here since Jim wasn't around anymore but I just bought a 1978 American Prayer Press Kit. Anyone else have one ? I only paid 16 bucks for it so I thought it was a good deal.

In the 1978 AP Press Kit it says:
Siddons and Associates Management
Dan Sugarman,Press Officer
Wasn't Danny already the band's manager by 1978 or did this only happen later ?

It happened later. I wanna say it was sometime in the late '80s or early '90s that Sugerman became their manager. After Siddons, it was Rich Linnell from 1980-1983. Then it was Ben Edmunds until I'm not sure when. And then I think it was Sugerman.MysticHeatedWine wrote:In the 1978 AP Press Kit it says:

Was checking out my usual music haunts in Greenwich Village last night and added two 45's to my collection. One is a radio promo with Tell All The People on side one and Easy Ride on side two. The other has The Mosquito in mono on side one and It Slipped My Mind on side two. I don't think I've ever heard The Mosquito in mono.
