Got to have a thread for my favorite Monkee, Peter Tork. He may have been the designated 'Dummy' on the show to get the laughs, but this was as far from his true persona as possible. Here is something from the best episode in the series 'Monkees on Tour'.

I think of all the four Monkees he was the most uncomfortable with his legacy, both during the show and after. But ultimately I believe he has come to terms with it. Just based on their upcoming tour it looks like he has beat his cancer scare.
