When did Arthur Lee start performing Instant Karma?

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

I seem to recall Arthur Lee interwove part John Lennon's 'Instant Karma' with one of his own tracks, when I saw Arthur live many moons ago....

When did he start playing Instant Karma live?

I looked it up and found the first version at the Universal Amphitheatre, LA. "Psychedelic summer of LOVE". Jan 27 1989 on one of my boots. So should be around that period.

He "wove" a part of the song in Everybody's Gotta Live from his "Vindicator" album.
