Love drummer Michael Stuart-Ware coming soon--to our forum!

LOVE was another great band from the 60's and of course VERY Doors related.
I think it would be great to have this special topic about the band who was such a big example for The Doors.

Love drummer Michael Stuart-Ware coming soon--to our forum!

Post by jamestkirk »

What fantastic news! Michael is considered one of the top drummers of the 60's. He was profiled in a book CALLED Great Rock Drummers of the 60's, in fact. One of 15 top drummers of his day profiled.

Michael is coming here soon to answer questions and share stories of LoVE!! He may have a few stories of Jim Morrison, like the skinny dipping pool incident at Arthur Lee's house!
He was there playing the Strip before the DOORS were even there and during their heyday! Love played shows with such greats as Buffalo Springfield and others...can't wait.

I have known Michael for serveral years and he is one of the nicest guys around...a totally good guy. He is always greatful and respectful of his fans, so I hope we can give him a hearty welcome when he comes on-board to share with us.

Cheers, and thanks, Ed, for all your work getting Michael here.
After all, Freeedomman Forum is dedicated to the DOORS AND Love, as is evidenced by the beautiful artwork on the Freedomman home page!

Here is the home page if you have never been there, and instead go directly to the FORUM.....

Nice words, Scott.
I hope to welcome Michael very soon here at the board.
I'm very pleased he agreed to come here.
He was at the strip when it all happened in the 60's, he must have lots
of stories!

Great news indeed. I really enjoyed his book, and look forward to his being here on the board. Thanks, Ed!

Here's the classic "Feathered Fish" by Michael's pre-Love band The Sons of Adam:
