Tips to tell if a handbill is genuine?

Hey all.

I recently bought my first handbill. Been collecting LPs for a while now.

It's the Baltimore Civic Center performance from May 10th 1970, pictured below (thanks to MildEquator for this example, haven't been able to scan mine yet). I don't think it is very rare but it came in the post today and I am happy with it! However, it was a bit of an impulse buy and I probably should have examined it a bit more before I bid for it. So my question is, in the future when I buy more, is there anything to look at which could tell me if it is a reproduction or not?

Hi.

Mine is pretty much identical to the one pictured - just a different colour, but I know they printed the same ads on different coloured paper. I bought mine from eBay and wondered what people look for to tell if they are reproductions or not. I believe mine is the real deal, but it might be one of those cases where you don't know until you have it in your hands. Most sellers do state whether it is a reproduction or real, but it just makes buying easier when you know what to look for.
