“There IS a God!!!!!”

Irish Barry e-mailed me today with some of the best piece of news I’ve received in years. I couldn’t believe it at first and immediately went to the DIRECT-TV website where my cable channels are located and found it, right there on BBC America, channel 264: EAST ENDERS every Saturday at 10am!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine how stoked I was, especially seeing as how the USA terror alert has been upgraded to “Orange” (whatever THAT means), that I could at least know I would be safe on Saturday mornings. Now, I know LAX security has been beefed up in anticipation of terrorist activities but, from where I am sitting, it looks like the new security are stopping everyone BUT al-Qaida. So I am kinda torn between my patriotic responsibility to support the new airport security and my impatience and desire to not stand 3 hours in a line that resembles an old Soviet union soup line, circa 1980. I guess I just have to learn to be patient. But now that I finally have East Enders to myself…I just don’t know what to do. The first thing that comes to mind is to get in contact with the tv station and try to get Kat down to one of our future shows. But how do I go about it? I mean, I don’t wan to come off like some freak or a stalker or nothing like that. I just want her to come out to the show, have a good time and then, maybe later we could have dinner or something like that. You know, If you have any ideas, please feel free to pass them on. I am all ears. So, it was quite nice to be back in Los Angeles, despite being treated like cattle at the airport. The weather today was a nice 70F, no clouds and a soft breeze. I walked to get a cup of coffee this morning in a sweater, shorts andsandles. It was as if I’d never left. And, although it wasgreat to be back, the wonderful memories of all the shows and the people and the places and even the snow left me smiling. See, the weather can only account for so much. But I feel as though I brought something back with me to Los Angeles. Something money can’t buy.
