These notes include the story of HOW Baby Lemonade got the LOVE gig in the first place and assessments of NEARLY 80 SHOWS from June 2, 1993, to the present.

Mike’s notes cover dates, venues, and cities of every show that either he or Baby Lemonade has played as LOVE. JUNE 20, 2003, WILL BE EXACTLY 10 YEARS since Arthur hired the guys to be the new LOVE. Not only have fans seen a “practically re-invented Arthur Lee,” according to MOJO MAGAZINE, but they’ve also been treated to shows that feature pure musical reverence by the “New LOVE,” glowing reviews in countless cities and three full tours since May 2002, including two shows featuring the Forever Changes material with Strings and Horns.

Mike gives us a glimpse into his notes and thoughts from that first show onward. Although many of these are short, simple observations, they also feature a host of characters with whom the band has shared the stage, like John Sterling, Melvin Whittington (both former members of LOVE), and Robbie Krieger.
